Interesting app, but broken in some pretty basic ways
I was excited when I found this app, because it allows panning and zoom, hence the possibility of making detailed drawings using a stylus on the iPad.
However, its user interface is broken in some pretty basic ways, which make it annoying or unusable. The developer really needs to fix these:
- When you go to enter text, if your pen size is small, then the text appears really tiny on the left side of the iPad screen - too small in fact to read.
- When you rotate a sketch element with a pinch gesture, then release, then pinch to adjust the rotation, it reverts to some home orientation each time.
- There is no way to disable stroke smoothing, which is rather strong. Thus, small wiggles in your stroke disappear, even if they were critical to your sketch.
- Changing from a pen to an eraser is a multi-click procedure, which makes editing painful.
- The erasers size is equal to the pens size; there is no separate size control for the eraser. This makes editing doubly painful, especially if youre using a small pen size.
